Why does
it deserve our mention?
For being
prepared in a traditional way, for offering two different textures, and for
being deliciously rich. The quail comes in a beautiful glass jar, partially
boned by hand and stuffed with succulent foie gras. The Port Gelée accompanying
the quail creates a balanced, lighter and more complex gastronomic effect. They
also produce high quality Duck Foie Gras in different formats and types which
are worth mentioning and tasting.
How
should you eat or cook it?
Put the jar in the fridge the day before consumption. Take
it out 15 minutes before tasting. Serve over toasted bread.
What wine
should you have with it?
With a sweet white wine like Moscatel Ordoñez núm. 2 from Bodegas
Victoria.
How
should you keep it?
In a cool, dry place.
Where
can you buy it?
