Why does it deserve our mention?

For being recognized as one of the most exclusive varieties of  Arabica coffee throughout the world. Originating in Ethiopia, particularly in a place called Mountain Geisha, these seeds were brought from Ethiopia to Kenya and then to Costa Rica, and later planted in Panama. Its bouquet is extremely complex. Its taste gives hints of sweet tangerine, jasmine, honey, cinnamon and a full and rich floral combination that make it memorable. It offers a perfect combination of acidity with subtle hints of lemon. It is essential that the coffee is lightly toasted and is prepared as a filtered coffee and not under pressure as with an espresso machine in order to appreciate its taste in fullness. Do not add sugar, and one more recommendation, serve in a Bordeaux wine glass to further appreciate its nuances and textures. It gives a very long aftertaste. La Finca Hacienda La Esmeralda is located at an altitude of between 1400 and 1700 meters high and is only one of several reasons why this is a fascinating coffee.  Like other great coffees of the world it is highly recommended that you buy it directly from specialty stores such as those named below to ensure its origin and the quality of the beans themselves.
