Why does it deserve our mention?

The recipe for this precious mustard remains intact since 1632, the year in which Brillat-Savarin, the father of French cooking, affirmed that this mustard was for gourmets, because it is magnificent in vinaigrette and ideal as an accompaniment to roasts of veal or lamb. Moutarde de Meaux is a cousin of Dijon. And although among some it has a reputation for being strong, the truth is that one of the characteristics that distinguish it is being made with a  subtle vinegar made by the same Maison that gives it a smooth touch, easily recognized when compared to other mustards.  Another of the most characteristic distinctive signs, and visually very striking, is the lacquered red top, which, in the United States, has been substituted by plastic.

How should you eat or cook it?

As an accompaniment to roast meat.

What wine should you drink with it?

Best with an artisanal beer.

How should you keep it?

In a cool, dry place and in the refrigerator after opening.

Where can you buy it?
